Doing what you say is rule number 1 in parenting. If you tell your kids they can't do something and then you just let them do it, that will be a wrap. They have you for life. It's the same with you. If you say you will do something and then let yourself slip, if you let your discipline go away, you are heading down a path of reacting to your feelings. We must do what we say!
